General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM field is another basic nursing course or specialisation which produces professionals capable of carrying out day to day operations of a nurse in different settings. Like ANM, GNM opens up opportunities to all nursing aspirants to courses and training programmes to enhance their knowledge and skill in the discipline.

Eligibility | 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board.
10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council. |
